So... an invitation is in the mail!

I GOT THE CALL... Washington, D.C. called me yesterday! I had another short interview and an offer to join Peace Corps! They are sending the details in the mail... well, they are sending everything in the mail! They wouldn't tell me the country or the date I would leave, so again, I wait! Lol. I think they do this to teach future volunteers patience and flexibility! I mean, how much info do they really have to hold back during each phone call or correspondence? Anyways, I am soooo excited! My mom is nervous and knows she's gonna miss the craziness I bring to her life and my sis and dad are excited for me! All in all, its time to know where I am going!! 

And quit my job. 

Oh my goodness, that will be the hardest part in the coming months. The family I nanny for really has done a lot for me and have been incredible employers. I'm going to miss Wil and Lexi sooooo much and I hope that they both understand that I need to begin my career and explore the world while I am still young and single! I know Lex understands this, lol, she is so good at telling it like it is! Love you Lex! Wil may or may not remember me a year down the road, but I'm sure he will be just fine! He has amazing family all around him! They will all be just fine (well, I keep telling myself this!)

My life is finally taking a turn towards exciting, new, challenging, and adventurous! Wow, I hope I'm not disappointed! And for all of you who think I am going to paradise, well... I am, but I will be without a LOT! So... those care packages better keep rollin in! Any good books people can live without? Oh, don't any of you worry, there will be lists coming! Anyways, I'll post where and when as soon as I get this huge packet I'm expecting!
